As a successful company based in the Black Forest in Germany, we take our social and environmental responsibilities very seriously. These range from working conditions and the promotion of projects in the local environment to taking a respectful approach to nature. Sustainability is also evident in our product range – all umaNATURALS writing instruments are manufactured, finished and shipped in a 100% ClimatePartner-certified manner.
Climate change is currently one of the greatest challenges. We want to take responsibility and are making a concrete contribution to climate protection: In cooperation with ClimatePartner, we have calculated the emissions of our umaNATURALS models and then offset them through regional climate protection projects. This means that the first uma ClimatePartner-certified writing instruments are now available.
We wouldn't be uma if we only concentrated on one product. For this reason, our entire production in Fischerbach in the Black Forest is ClimatePartner-certified. We are therefore pleased to be able to make a positive contribution to the environment.
When making a purchase decision, customers no longer only look at the price or the quality of a product. The customer wants to know how a product is manufactured and who is responsible for it. Unfortunately, responsible corporate behaviour is not always a matter of course. We have put our actions to the external test and have received several awards.
